This is due to the different shapes of the knobs: lower at the centre part, to encourage fast rolling on tarmac, higher on the lateral, ready to face light off-roads terrain.
The motorcycle derived profiles, provide traction while leaning. The 5mm rubber layer, makes the tyre suitable for light trails outside the city and reliable in uncertain terrains.
