We've been selling bike cleaning products for many years, but found the range of products offered by other manufacturers was so large it became confusing about what to buy and use.
Then one day while cleaning a bike, the name "Wheelie Wash" came out my mouth and I was obsessed with the idea ever since.
12 months of experimenting with different chemicals and suppliers, testing everything on our bikes just to decide who would manufacture our products.
Then we had to design the labels! I wanted a clean modern design that made it easy to recognise what product did what job. All I can say is this took much longer than I ever anticipated. Launching eight products all at once was not just copy and pasting the label design as I had imagined. Every label meticulously tweaked and adjusted with different font sizes, custom icons and making sure the correct legal words and barcodes are on the right bottles.
We've now launched the full range and have had great feedback from customers. It makes me extremely proud to see our very own products that were designed from scratch being used by customers.
