Well theres a lot to say, but I think I may run out of ink so best keep it short!
I was expecting we would be using the same track as BDS rnd 3 but instead we were going to be rolling down the 'Pearce' track. Heavy rainfall mean
t many were expecting a traditional British slopfest.
As tent zips were undone and the smell of bacon lingered in the air I headed up for track walk. As I pondered into the bottom wood section my expectations were met; Wet sloppy mud. As I continued up the track things seemed a lot dryer and tackier and allowed me to see what the track was really about. Everyone was eyeing out a stump gap but was it going to be viable come race day? Further up the track there were some sizeable jumps to gain some valuable style points and the almighty bog.
THE BOG claimed many riders dragging them into its core and then spitting them out as Ben Deakin kindly demonstrates below!
